Servers Digital Certificates Issue
The NOC in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) is providing X.509 digital certificates for servers, signed by Comodo’s trusted Certification Authority. The Comodo Certification Authority is pre-installed in most OS (operating systems) and web browsers, which makes the safe communication between Comodo’s trusted users and servers guaranteed.
This service is availiable only for the teaching and administration personnel of the TEI. To get approval of your certificate you should apply both online at the URL http://pki.teipir.gr and also to the NOC by this form.
Personal Digital Certificates Issue
The NOC in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT) the NOC is providing X.509 digital certificates for individuals certified by the Authentication Authorization Infrastructure (AAI), signed by Comodo. The Comodo Certification Authority is pre-installed in most OS (operating systems) and email applications and web browsers, which makes the safe communication between Comodo’s trusted users and servers guaranteed. These certificates can be used to sign and encrypt emails or owner identification in the web.
This service is availiable only to the personnel of the TEI that already has a TeiPir account.
The applicant must first file in person the form to the NOC. A certificate of identity such as ID, passport or Driver’s Licence is also necessary. After the application is filed to the NOC the user has to fill the online form at the URL http://pki.teipir.gr.
